| "You are the apple of My eye"! (John 3:16) |
| God's nature I John 4:16 "God is love," Therefore it is His nature to heal. Healing is part of His anatomy. For as many as touched Him were made well. (Mark 6:56) He says to His people (Exodus 15:26) “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight; give ear to His commandments and keep all His on you For I am the LORD who heals you.” Jesus said that all of the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments: Love God with all your heart, and your neighbor as yourself. Just as Jesus has already died (and arose) to save you from your sins, so He has already suffered to heal you from your sicknesses. For by His stripes you are healed! (Isaiah 53:5) He says, I suffered so much to eliminate every doubt that could ever arise in your heart as to whether or not I love you. I was torn, stripes were laid upon My body, from the Roman scourge, because I want you healed from your diseases. This is part of why I suffered so intensely for you; so that you would be healed. I wanted your joy to be full. To the extreme that I suffered for you, is the extent that I want you to be well. I suffered ALL the WAY-for you! I want you to be well all the way FOR ME! Believe that. Oh dearly loved child of God, what the Lord really wants to heal is our faith. He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:1-2) He says, "I will perfect the thing that concerns you." (psalm 138:8) What most people are concerned about is whether or not God loves them. He wants to make you perfect and stable and steadfast in His love. Answered prayer brings more joy to Him than it does for the one who petitioned. Believe that. God is love and it is His nature to heal. He wants to make you perfect in His love by healing you from every sickness, disease, and disability you may have. Trust Him with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) It is hard to trust in Him Whom you cannot see, when He seems to fail to give you what you need to see Him. This is why we always look to Jesus. Because the Father gave Him for us to see. So close your eyes and picture Him, at the Roman scourge receiving the punishment for your sins & sickness and believe. For, "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us ALL, how shall He not with Him also freely give us ALL things?" (Romans 8:32) |
