| “Little Pilgrim” Little pilgrim you were born between two worlds, Upon the ancient and Holy Highway. Many times you may feel torn between them, But upon this Path, you must stay. The world on the right is obviously dark, But the one on the left has an appearance of light. Remove your foot from both of them, Walk this narrow way, for it is right. Little pilgrim, I know you are so lonely, But it is because of Truth. For this your eyes are opened, So that many do not get close to you. You live life as an outcast, And oft times are rejected. Because these two worlds you have abandoned, Ran from and defected. Suffering shall be your way of life, So long as you are on the Path. But for eternity you will reap My mercy, Being hidden in the Day of My wrath. Little pilgrim, born into a whirlwind, Because both worlds are lawless, You’ve suffered much confusion. These worlds are a perpetual crossroads, So you often question if you are lost. However My truth shall counsel you, Saying, “The old Path,” is the cross. Until you come out from these worlds, You will never be content. Leaving the ways of folly, And from those who circumvent. Little pilgrim, others will be refreshed, When they meet you in the Way. Their weary souls have been so burdened, From many who have strayed. Though many have walked this Path alone, They know this Path only, will lead them home. Confusion, rejection, and loneliness, you may say, Are the feelings which are to comfort you while walking the Lord’s Highway! But be courageous and do not despair, Unless it is man, you begin to fear. For whom you fear you serve, And one Day they will learn, That they should have loved the truth, But now surely they will burn. Little pilgrim, embrace the truth which bore you, And you will not err along the way. Since the Highway is called holiness, Permit the truth in your heart to reign. Do not be fooled from what you felt, When you left those worlds behind, For these the worlds pine away in sin, But the old Highway shall be your Sign. For many exalt their senses over veracity, Thus they are constrained to lewdness, But Truth restrains for chastity. Little pilgrim, how happy are those who suffer from those worlds, oppression, They are in touch with reality, not forgetful of God’s eternal judgment. These are true saints, in whom His soul takes pleasure, They love what He loves and hate what He hates, And make the Lord, their greatest treasure! |
