Closing Remarks
I would rather admit that I don’t believe in Jesus than to deny what He said. I would rather perish in
obedience, than to live in unbelief.
“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare
entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” (2
Timothy 2:3-4)  You are either a soldier of Jesus Christ or of this world.  Jesus’ soldiers do not fight for
this world because His kingdom is not of this world.
True Christians are born into a royal family and priesthood, but also enlist upon the confession of their
Captain into His eternal knighthood whereby they have sworn allegiance to the Truth, the Way, and the
Life. These collectively serve as guardians of the true faith of Jesus, defending through patience and
meekness, the doctrines committed to them by their Lord, exposing all deceit, heresy, and apostates
who pose as friends of God, but are in verity, genuine enemies of the Way, who lay the basic
foundation of our beloved Gospel of peace, yet build another structure other than Christ’s church; the
same enemies point to the narrow gate, but then lead their subjects another way. These knights have
branded upon their hearts, and pumping through their veins, that royal code, whereby the Captain of
their salvation was made perfect through His suffering from obedience to the principles contained
therein. For it was for their sakes that He suffered, that He might bring many sons to glory, and now
they suffer for Him, that He may receive the reward of His suffering. For He endured the wrath of God
for them three days and three nights in the abussos, that is, the bottomless pit, on account of their
offenses, so that upon His resurrection many may be justified, sanctified, and become loyal followers
of the Way which leads to life, that they may behold His glory forever, where they shall walk together
for all eternity, following the Lamb wherever He goes. These brave warriors wrestle not against flesh
and blood, nor are the weapons of their warfare carnal, but these are mighty through God for
demolishing enemy strongholds. Their Master has not once ever commissioned them to take up any
sword, except the sharp two-edged sword of the Word of God. They do not defend any earthly
kingdom, nor do they offend the sweet Spirit of grace, by using violence as a means to any end. For in
so doing they know that perdition would be their just reward for shrinking back from the faith which
was established in the purest of love and truth, but even more importantly, that the name of their
Beloved would be blasphemed and their holy garments which are to adorn them for the Great Supper
would be stained. These are the faithful who, through Jesus’ teachings, follow the Way, defend the
Truth, and inherit eternal Life.
